Thanks for the video, plz keep them coming.
I expected a lot from Rob Zombie... and did he deliver. It was an intimate venue that he immediately inhaled and took us all in. He jumped directly into the crowd and swaggered throughout his adoring fans, speaking to individuals and performing like no other. The sound, lighting and stage graphics were mesmerizing. Many stood and just stared into the lights... and maybe it was intentional as if to "zombie-fy" the audience. At one point during the show, he asked everyone to put down their cameras for 3 ½ minutes so that they could remember what it felt like to be at a rock show… to feel the energy, the music and to get that feeling of adrenaline rushing throughout their bodies with every beat. He said, everyone is so focused on getting that picture or that video to look at or watch later, that you forget that you are living it LIVE. Enjoy it NOW.
After a few songs, he laughed and had all the band members stand on risers and pose for pictures and told the audience, "Don't say I never gave you anything!" After their encore, the band said goodnight and the venue started to clear out. For some reason I wasn’t ready to leave. I thought hmm… if I was Rob Zombie, I would weed out the crowd – wait about 5-10 minutes and for those few who stuck around give them a kick-ass second encore. Holy crap! I must have been staring at the right light and received the subliminal message. Thank you for the second encore, Mr. Zombie.
